Cancellation/No Show Policy We strive to provide the best in patient and client care. As a result, we work hard to protect the time that is set aside for you and your pet. Please review the policies below regarding appointment cancellations as well as if you are late or no-show to an appointment. Cancellation: If you need to cancel a scheduled appointment, please contact us no later than 2 business days before your appointment time. You can call the clinic at 403-625-3677 or email us at: [email protected]. Please be sure to include your information, your pet’s information, and the appointment day and time. If you do not cancel within 2 business days, you will incur a late cancellation fee of $35 for medical appointments and $50 for surgical/dental procedure appointments. No Show: If you no-show for an appointment (you do not notify us you will not make it) you will be charged a no-show fee of $35 for medical appointments and $50 for surgical/dental procedure appointments. Late Arrival: If you arrive 10 minutes late or more for your scheduled appointment, you may be asked to reschedule your appointment, or given the option to wait until the Doctor is available depending on the schedule at that time. If you are running late, please call the clinic at 403-625-3677 to discuss options with one of our client service receptionists. If you “no show” or have repeated cancellations on 2 occasions (without 2 business days notice for appointments or surgeries/dental procedures) there will be a Booking Deposit Fee (amount depending on procedure/appointment type) required prior to future scheduling.
New Client Surgical Deposit Policy New clients are required to pay a $50 deposit at the time of scheduling a surgery/dental procedure. (Each pet scheduled requires its own deposit). The deposit will be applied towards the surgery/dental procedure’s final bill. If the appointment is rescheduled, the deposit will be applied to the rescheduled appointment. The deposit will be forfeited in the occurrence of a "no show", a cancellation/failure to reschedule with less than 2 business days notice or if not applied to surgery/dental procedure within 45 days of making the initial appointment. Deposits are to be made by credit card over the phone, in person by any of our accepted forms of payment, or by e transfer within 24 hours of booking. E transfers are to be sent to [email protected] and the memo with the transfer needs to include the client’s name that was used to book the appointment and the pet’s name. If the e transfer is not received within 24 hours of the appointment being made we will make one attempt to contact you based on the phone number/email provided at the time of booking and then the appointment will be removed from the schedule.
New Clients - Farm Calls Policy All new clients calling to book a farm call appointment will be charged a deposit of the mileage to and from the farm as well as the initial exam/procedure fee. All additional procedures/medications/other charges will be collected at the time of the appointment on farm by credit card or e-transfer. Deposits are to be made by credit card over the phone, in person by any of our accepted forms of payment, or by e-transfer within 24 hours of booking/prior to the vet coming to the farm, whichever comes first. If the appointment is rescheduled with a minimum of 2 business days notice, the deposit will be transferred to the rescheduled appointment. The deposit will be returned with the exception of $50 in the occurrence of a cancellation/failure to reschedule with less than 2 business days notice.
Small Animal House Call Policy All clients calling to book a house call appointment will be charged a deposit of the mileage to and from the house, as well as the initial exam/procedure fee. Estimates Upon request, we can provide a written estimate for costs of recommended diagnostic testing, procedures, treatments, or medication. In some instances, a deposit may be required for significant emergency procedures or hospitalized patients.
Payment Methods Payment is to be made at the time any services are rendered. Overdue accounts are assessed a 2% per month finance charge. Accounts submitted for collection are inclusive of outstanding balance, finance charges, attorney fees and collection fees. We accept the following payment methods: Cash Credit Cards (Mastercard and Visa) Debit E-transfer (confirmed in our account prior to discharge/completion of appointment) Third party financing companies such as Petcard/iFinance (Ask staff for details)
